A vote for Riley is a vote for working Texans

My name is Riley Rodriquez, I am a Performance coach, and I run a small service business right in the heart of District 28, Abilene Texas. I grew up in the area, my dad was a ranch hand, and my mom was a probation officer. Ranch life instilled in me an understanding of what strong work ethic can do for you and the resilience of a working-class family. I’m running for District 28 Texas State Senator.

I’ve worked every job Texas is known for, cowboying, oilfield hand, and business owner, all while continuing to work on my higher education currently finishing my degree at Texas Tech.

I am a working-class candidate, I know how it feels to live paycheck to paycheck, to have to choose between gas or groceries, what one sharp drop in oil prices can mean for workers, and the desperate feeling that it doesn’t have to be this way.

I know the obstacles everyday Texans face throughout our district, the pressures on us as the housing prices rise, wages continue to stagnate, bills get higher and public education becomes a game of Politics.

I am not standing by; it’s time for a better quality of life for all of us. I’m Riley Rodriquez and I’m asking for your vote for State Senator of Texas District 28.

“A leader is someone who helps improve the lives of other people or improve the system they live under”
